I graduated from the State University of New York, at Oswego in May 1991.  My Bachelor of Arts degree is in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology.  

My professional life has been spent primarily within the Blue Cross and Blue Shield system.  I worked for Empire BCBS in New York from 1992 - 2002, CareFirst BCBS in DC from 2002 - 2004, and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in DC from 2004 to the present.  

Currently, I hold the position of Managing Director, Field Service Program for the BCBS Service Benefit Plan. Popularly known as the Federal Employee Program (FEP), we serve approximately 5.6 million members nationally.  Several progressive positions over the years have afforded me skills and expertise in field service, sales, operations, communications, federal procurement, and vendor management.
